Download and Log Into the PorchCam App
Start by downloading the PorchCam App from your device’s app store, then create an account or log in.
Grant Necessary Permissions
Allow the app to access your camera, microphone, and notifications to ensure full functionality.
Power On and Prepare Your PorchCam Device
Plug in your PorchCam device and ensure it's in pairing mode, indicated by a blinking LED light.
Add the Camera
In the app, tap “Add Device” and follow the prompts to connect your PorchCam to your account. Make sure your camera is powered on and nearby during setup.
Connect the PorchCam to Your Wi-Fi Network
Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password to connect the camera for remote viewing.
Name Your Camera for Easy Identification
Assign a unique name to your camera, such as "Front Porch" or "Backyard," to easily identify it within the app.
Adjust Camera Settings
Customize settings such as motion detection sensitivity, recording schedules, and notification preferences.
Test Live View
Access the live feed to ensure your camera is functioning correctly and positioned as desired.
Review Recorded Footage
Navigate to the recordings section to view and manage captured footage.
